Determined, anointed, and chosen with love and light, SHADES OF SHADES® Founder, Marsha Douglas-Sydnor is no stranger to putting in the delightful work of manifesting dreams.  Born in Maryland, raised in a reggae-filled Jamaican household, began working at the age of 11, was the first in her family to graduate college with a Bachelor of Science Degree, moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career, traveled the world, married the love of her life, became a mom of 3, then was suddenly diagnosed with a Meningioma brain tumor.  Life became still, and a greater spark was ignited in her soul to not only become a survivor and a uniter, but a creator.  From that moment, Shades Of Shades® was born.

Shades Of Shades® Luxury Eyewear is built off the platform of unity.  Our beautiful shades makeup our beautiful world and should be diversely lifted up and celebrated!  We are uniquely different, but ultimately, all the same.
